Hello! My name is Enea, welcome to Enea Piano Academy.

I offer online & in-person classical piano lessons, coaching, mentoring, exam preparation (conservatory, university, ABRSM) and more.

INTRODUCTION

I offer a pragmatic and focused approach to piano teaching, adapting to the skill level of my students. I was taught in a traditional European piano school way mixed with traditional Russian piano school. My primary focus is solving all kinds of pianistic problems – technique and movements, but I always remind myself and my students of the bigger musical perspective. I teach online & in-person.

CV

I was born in Vienna and started piano at the age of 5, at the age of 9 I was admitted to a youth preparatory course at the conservatory in Vienna as the youngest to be ever admitted. I gave my debut at the Musikverein in Vienna at age 13 and shortly thereafter, in the Konzerthaus. My education includes bachelor and master degree studies in solo piano performance (passed final piano exams with honours) as well as additional pre- and post- studies at the Conservatory of Vienna and the Mozarteum Salzburg. Throughout the years I have had the chance to be taught both regularly or in master classes by several great pianists such as - in alphabetical order - Boris Berman, Paul Badura-Skoda, Cyprien Katsaris, Leonel Morales, Vitaly Margulis, Denys Proshayev, Henri Sigfridsson, Кlaus Sticken, Ingolf Wunder, and many others. I am also prize winner and finalist of several piano competitions in Europe, and have been featured in several newspapers like "Falter", "Kultur NRW", "Society Magazine", "Wien Magazin", "Bochumer Symphoniker", "Exxpress", "Kronen Zeitung" and others.

CONCERTS

I have performed hundreds of concerts in Austria and Europe, combining known repertoire from the 17th century up to the 21st century, with modern transcriptions and arrangements. I also have several themed recitals. Some of my highest profile performances include Rachmaninoff's 3rd concerto, Ravel's Gaspard de la nuit, and a full performance of all 12 Transcendental Etudes by F. Liszt. I have also performed in concert cycles where several world class pianists have performed in the same cycle of events, such as Piotr Paleczny and Yuja Wang. For an (almost) complete list of my repertoire, click here. I have focused mainly on composers from the 19th & 20th century, but have explored and played all different kinds of piano literature.

SERVICES / LESSONS

I offer 1-on-1 piano lessons for anyone who is at an advanced level (normally about 2-3 years of piano playing). Focus includes working on repertoire, improving overall skills at the piano in every aspect, preparation for concerts, exams, competitions. I can gladly say that my students have performed very well in competitions and exams such as: international in-person competitions with mulitple rounds, online competitions, conservatory auditions, auditions for music schools, ABRSM exams and more. I can teach in English and German.

For my equipment I use multiple camera angles (top & side), a studio quality microphone as well as studio reference headphones. All lessons are archived for my students to rewatch, as well as a replay function during the lesson to analyse and correct mistakes or posture. Notes taken and hand-written memos by myself are uploaded to the student dashboard which every student receives, as well as a schedule system, upcoming exams / concerts lists etc.

Since 2021, I also create informative piano videos on YouTube and have reached over 10,000 subscribers.
